Local Summer 03:21
Hey dudes, its local summer We’re gonna catch some waves Maybe misbehave Everything will be cool, its local summer Hey babes, its local summer We’re gonna lay in the sun And have some fun Everything will be cool, its local summer Oceans pounding, people drowning Local summer’s gone Currents churning, hearts are burning Local summer’s gone Hey friends, its local summer We’re gonna stay up all night And feel alright Everything will be cool, its local summer Oceans pounding, people drowning Local summer’s gone Currents churning, hearts are burning Local summer’s gone WHOO! (Saxophone solo) Oceans pounding, people drowning Local summer’s gone Currents churning, hearts are burning Local summer’s gone When you get to be, where you’re meant to be Please remember please, what you meant to me You will always be, love and light to me You will always be, love and light to me Lyrics by Mike Chick

The Woods 02:31
Trees will hold on to their roots Hikers marching with their boots We can all cry for the lost But what good is some wood if you ain’t got an axe? To chop chop chop, chop chop chop Lost in the woods again Almost out of my rations Pull back a bow and let it fly Arrows across the sky The hawk stood over a dead deer in the street He looked around and said “this is all for me” Stretched his wings and licked his beak What good is a fire if you don’t have a match? To chop chop chop, chop chop chop Lost in the woods again Almost out of my rations Pull back a bow and let it fly Arrows across the sky The clouds they part so nice Out on a raft Can’t swim the best Sailing all alone So far from home Here in this cove It’s overall Is the earth that big Or am I that small Lyrics by Mike Chick

Shouted Poem 02:03
There will come a time When everyone gets older Every single day People getting older Complaining while their young How they feel so old With all that you could give If you’re alive then live There will come a time When everyone is dead And all the things you love Will end up in a shed Or someone else’s house You won’t care either way With all that you could give If you’re alive then live Lyrics by Mike Chick

Today’s the day I’m leaving town Feeling so low That I could lick the ground Found a box in a treasure chest Half a sandwich and a wizard map No coins, no snacks, no notes from mom The little things we all could do That keep things running relatively smooth Day after day Living alone If you’re sad then just pick up the phone Operators Are standing by for me The food is rotten The wires are fried True love itself won’t keep us alive Spine popped the beach ball We were all amused Is it a cracked foundation Or a blown out fuse The little things we all could do That keep things running relatively smooth Day after day Living alone If you’re sad then just pick up the phone Operators Are standing by for me Lyrics by Mike Chick

Kickstand 03:26
Don’t look down All you see are cigarettes on the ground Right or wrong You can kiss me at the end of this song Daily inspiration, scrolling through a feed Pleasant interaction, a sense of hope and need Sometimes, I need a hand And there you are Holding me up like a kickstand Why not smile Enjoy yourself for a little while Just let go Don’t get upset if things are going slow People getting over, every single day Some are hardworking, others aren’t worth their weight Sometimes, I need a hand And there you are Holding me up like a kickstand Hey! Let’s hope The world spins right off the axis of this cruel joke But in the meantime We might as well do our best to try and do our best Hey! Let’s hope Our friends make money so they don’t live broke But here it comes again Knocking you down Just like a bike without a kickstand (break it down) Hey! Let’s hope Our friends make money so they don’t live broke Sometimes I need a hand And there you are Holding me up like a kickstand Lyrics by Mike Chick
